FREE PUBLIC ALPHA - V0.7

Project Unknown (PU) is an experimental 3D single-player side-scrolling tactical shooter currently featuring vast multi-layer pseudorandom level generation with simulated biome zones, underground cave networks (WIP), and procedural structures. Other notable features include a sophisticated AI model (WIP), an interactive grappling hook, and physical weather effects. PU strives to offer a comprehensive combat arena for players looking for an intellectual challenge and consistently unique gameplay in an ever-changing world made possible with procedural generation.

This is a FREE PUBLIC ALPHA version that is subject to developmental updates to incorporate new content, fix bugs, and accommodate community feedback. Additional project information and discussions will be held in the Devlog.

• R - Reload Weapon
• Q – Aim/Throw Secondary Item
• Mouse Wheel – Switch Secondary Item
• L-Click - Use Weapon
• R-Click - Use Grappling Hook
• TAB – Relaunch Game (Legacy)
• Esc – Pause Menu

TIPS

• Silenced weapons generate a limited amount of noise but can still be heard from close proximity.
• Non-silenced weapons generate a lot of noise and reveal the player's position to enemy forces nearby.
• Hostile forces are alerted by dead bodies; hide them using the E key.
• You can jump on hostiles for a stealthy insta-kill or use a throwing knife.
• Press A and D keys to swing while hanging from a solid surface.
• Press and hold Q to aim a secondary item; release to throw.
• Run against crates to push them and create additional cover from enemy fire.
• Hide inside crates for temporary cover in dense areas.
• Listen for hostile footsteps before planning a dangerous run across the map.
• Throwing a grenade also makes noise.
• Grenades always kill.
• Stealth and agility are your best friends for survival.
